The weekend breakdown

Not much beats an LA summer. The kids become balls of dirt, scrapes and bruises, and lounging around is necessity.

We kicked off the weekend getting a few things done as the kids Enjoyed the mini pool. Breakfast was our favorite oatmeal banana pancakes and Lyla actually found that peanut butter with some honey yogurt on top is incrreadible! Lunch was an amazing cold pasta salad, with some fruit smoothies that Jilian made (thank you Pinterest as always) and we got our tap in the mail so we could try making a watermelon keg

Saturday evening we headed over to shoot and hang out at a Fig and Whiskey movie event. Great food and drinks while watching Monty Python and the Holy Grail in a beautifully set up backyard party that was was too fun!

The best part of the weekend was getting to see our future new house! We are so excited about this place we can't stand it, so get ready for some diy posts here soon. August can't come soon enough even though we have so much to do before then.

Dinner with our friends and watching the sun go down over the mountains was a perfect way to cap off the weekend. We hope you all had a great weekend as well, and a productive Monday to kick off the week.
